Cradles have a special importance in Indian culture. Elaborately carved and decorated wooden cradles or Palna / Thottilu are used in many religious ceremonies as many festivities in India involve rocking idols in Jhoolas/swings.

Devotees usually place Bal Gopal in a special cradle on Janmashtami, swing Him gently and shower their love and devotion on Him. In some places, it is a practice for people to place the idols of Gods like Maa Ambe, Sai Baba, Lord Ganesha, among others to worship them during festivals.

We bring to you the most luxurious and beautiful wooden Jhoola handcrafted by traditional artisans of Karnataka. The brass chains and brass finish hooks make the swing more elegant.
