They select aged jackfruit logs (Halasina Mara), season them naturally, and carve each peeta with chisels and patience that no machine can replicate.

The four-leg silhouette, the gently curved edges, and the polished but un-lacquered finish — every detail follows specifications laid out in the traditional Shilpa Shastra texts. Care That Lasts Generations

Daily care: Wipe with a soft, dry cotton cloth before lighting the lamp. If kumkum, oil, or ghee spills, dab gently — do not rub.

Weekly care: Use a slightly damp cloth (water only). Dry immediately with a soft cloth.

Avoid: Detergents, surface cleaners, alcohol-based sprays, abrasive scrubbers, and prolonged direct sunlight. Never place a hot deepam directly on the surface — always use a brass plate underneath.

Once a year: Apply a thin coat of pure coconut oil with a soft cloth to nourish the wood. Wipe off excess after 30 minutes.
